Meet our Friendly Vets
My name is Jen. I am originally from the UK but moved here in 2018 after working as a vet back home for 18 months. I am from a farming background and after planning to stay here for just 6 months… met a kiwi farmer and moved to the sunny Far North. I certainly don’t miss English weather! In my spare time (when not helping on the farm) I’m really into diving and anything that gets me near water to be honest! We have a complete mixture of pets at home including 2 dogs, a cat and a Kunekune pig! I am interested in all areas of veterinary practice and love being part of the team here at Topvets.
Hi I’m Lloyd. I graduated to Kaitaia in late 1984, and have practiced here ever since apart from 4 years working overseas and in Whangarei. My special interests are Dairy and Beef practice, and small animal orthopaedics. Outside of work, I enjoy fishing, diving, hunting and golf.
Hi I’m Koid. I completed my vet degree at Massey University in 2015. I enjoy the challenges of working in a rural practice, with the variety of cases on a day to day basis. When I am not at work, I spend my time exploring the many coastal walks in the Far North and the great fishing that the area provides.
